Heads up! Microsoft to preview Windows 10 for phones today - pittmancalown

If you've been ready and waiting for the technical preview of Windows Sound 10 to drop, today's the day.

Microsoft's Gabriel Aul tweeted Thursday morning that the the expiration would be pushed out now, and so indicated that it will constitute earlier, rather than later.

During a press event last calendar month, Microsoft showed what Windows 10 (formerly Windows Phone) will look like on phones. There's quiet a vertical list of Live Tiles on the Start riddle along with a master app list, and the familiar "Action Mall" for notifications still appears when you pluck falling from the top of the screen.

Notifications will remain in sync 'tween phones, tablets and laptops, so dismissing a telling on one device will cause IT to disappear on the others. The company also showed an expanded nimble toggles menu with shortcuts to things like quiet hours and GPS, and a streamlined settings menu.

Microsoft also showed off a revamped rendering of Office, which will accompany the new OS. Microsoft has managed to shrink the entire Office ribbon exploiter port for smallish screens, making features like Dog Changes available on smartphones.

Windows 10 for Phones is likewise expected to include so-called "universal" apps, which will share the Sami count and experience Eastern Samoa the background version of Windows 10.
